Proposals to Modify
California Rules of Court
for Court-Appointed Attorneys

A report was filed with two advisory committees of the Judicial Council of California on May 1, 2015.  The proposals would add three new rules of court and one new rule of judicial administration.  The rules pertain to qualifications, continuing education requirements, and performance standards for court-appointed attorneys who represent adults with developmental disabilities in limited conservatorship cases.
